This is an original Mercury release record. Ive saved the original sound of these recordings. Jims music sounds like it was suppose to, they have not been remastered. I made sure of that. Here is Jim Minor and Chet Atkins doing Satans Chauffeur. Recorded by Mercury records 1960, also the flip side, Im a fool for you. Record has the Jordanaires on backup vocals. Photo shows Jordanaires with Alice Berry and Vada Bell. Just listen to the opening picking. The b/w photo of the 4 singing cowboys are the diamond Kay jewelers ranch hands, ranchhands, featuring Jim Minor. Diamond Kay Jewelers was the sponsor of the tv program. My dad was a pioneer in early television. He did a 30 minute live country and western show called the ranch hands. This was in Nov. of 1953 in Evansville, Indiana. They made 26 episodes. This show was shown on channel 62, Evansville, Indiana's first television station. WFIE 14, equals were first in Evansville. One time while filming an episode Jim says, they brought this cow out on the stage. One of the singing cowboys was milking the cow while they were singing "The Milk Cow Blues". Suddenly the cow turned her head around and started to eat the cowboys straw hat. All caught on LIVE television. Jim said the tv station received all kinds of mail about that specific episode. More to come. The rest of the photos are of Jim and his family. My name is Todd minor, and shown in the photos, are Holly, Debbie, Jimmy, Barry, mom and myself. I hope you all enjoy this ...
